In a recent letter to the editor, it was implied that Bowling Green did not have any suitable
places to eat, because "travelers are looking for the consistency of a familiar brand name
restaurant."My wife and I live half way between Bowling Green and Perrysburg. More often than not,
we choose to eat in Bowling Green, due to the quality of the meals, variety of food and preference to
support local business.I would invite travelers to enjoy the variety of foods available including,
Italian, American, Asian, vegetarian, Bulgarian and even the taste of Ireland. We also have some of the
best local pizza around.Toledo and the surrounding area is saturated with generic and mundane chain
restaurants owned by anonymous corporations.We hope they stay there.Come to Bowling Green to enjoy a
restaurant where you can meet the owner and tell them how much you enjoy your meal.Mike RoehrsBowling
