Marjorie A. Vanek, age 75, of Pemberville, OH, passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at
Blakely Care Center, Bowling Green, OH.She was born on March 24, 1937 in Bowling Green, OH, to Harry and
Dorothy (Shepard) Osborn. On October 8, 1960 she married Elwood R. Vanek in Bowling Green, OH and he
survives.Marjorie was a bookkeeper for C. Duncan Industries for 15 years, retiring in 1993.Her
memberships included: First Presbyterian Church of Pemberville, Mary’s Circle, Church Women’s
Association, CCL and played BUNCO since high school with friends and family. She was also a member of
Power of Yesteryear Club, where she served on the board from 1995-2000 and in 2006 and received the
Presidents Award in 1997.Surviving Marjorie are her husband of 52 years: Elwood, daughters: Alice Vanek
of Bowling Green, Sara (Scott) Richardville of Walbridge, Emily (Allen) Snyder of Pemberville, Patricia
(Chris) Wells of Portage, grandsons: Joshua Wellington, Daniel Snyder, step-grandchildren: Eric and
Megan Richardville, sisters: Laura (Dale) Pockett of Columbus and Linda Turner of Bowling Green.She was
preceded in death by her parents.Family and friends will be received on Thursday, January 24, 2013 from
2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Marsh Funeral Home, 4094 State Route 105, Pemberville, OH, where funeral
services will be conducted on Friday, January 25, 2013 at 11a.m. Officiating will be Rev. James Miller.
Interment will be in Pemberville Cemetery, Pemberville, OHThere will be a bereavement luncheon served at
the First United Presbyterian Church, Pemberville, OH immediately following the cemetery committal
