Firefirefighters from at least five departments have been busy this afternoon
battling house fires on opposite sides of Wood County.
About 3:45 Pemberville-Freedom and Wayne firefighters were called to the 3000 block
of U.S. 6 for a mobile home fire. An EMS unit was also sent to the scene.
A few minutes later firefighters were called to a house fire on Wall Street in
Tontogany.
Washington, Middleton and Weston township fire departments were sent to the scene.

Damage at both sites was reported to be significant.
It is unknown if there were any injuries.
