PEMBERVILLE – No injuries were reported following a Wednesday afternoon incident in
which a car struck a house trailer southwest of the village.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Office reported that at 3 p.m., in the 14100 block of New
Rochester Road, Dale Smith, Pemberville, driving a 1991 Honda Accord, was
southbound when he fell asleep and ran off the right side of the road, clipping
a house trailer.
It was unclear if anyone was inside the trailer at the time of the crash.
Smith was cited for operation without reasonable control.
