Michael David Peters

(Updated 8-21, 5:22 p.m.) Bowling Green State University police this afternoon took
Michael David Peters, 28, Maumee, into custody and took him to the Wood County
Justice Center.
Peters was not on campus when he was taken into custody, a university spokesperson
said.
Peters apparently showed up on campus Monday in violation of a order not to be on
campus.
BG City Prosecutor Matt Reger said this morning that Peters apparently delivered a
letter to an office on campus Monday. Police were alerted but could not locate
Peters at that time.
BG Municipal Court later issued a warrant for his arrest based on violation of the
campus ban.
Peters has been banned from all BGSU campuses and facilities for making threats
against a faculty member.
On Aug. 2 Peters was charged with criminal trespass and inducing panic after he was
found to have been in the Business Administration Building, in violation of the
ban.
Peters is a former student.
