The public is invited to enroll in the Wood County Sheriff’s Office Citizen’s Police Academy, to be held
Thursday evenings beginning Sept. 6 and running through Nov. 1.
Classes will be held from 6 to 9 p.m.
Attendees will learn about the operations of the Sheriff’s Office and the duties of the Office of the
Sheriff.
They will also hear from other Wood County and state agencies that the office partners with in their
crime prevention efforts.
