Nelda Baldonado, 54, of Portage passed away Thursday July 12, 2012.
She was born on August 14, 1957 in Brownsville, Texas to David and Enriqueta
Baldonado.
Nelda enjoyed fishing, word searches, and playing Yahtzee with her family and
friends. She was an avid Indians fan and loved watching them play on television.
She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Bowling Green.
She was preceded in death by her father, David Baldonado; sister, Lidia Baldonado;
and a niece, Jennifer (LaBombarbe) Cook.
Nelda is survived by her mother, Enriqueta of Portage,Ohio; son, Xavier Baldonado of
Bowling Green, Ohio; daughter, Anna Baldonado of Delphos, Ohio; sisters:,
Juanita (John) LaBombarbe of Rudolph, Ohio, Delia and Christy Baldonado of
Portage, Ohio; and Laura Baldonado of Bowling Green, Ohio; brothers, David
Baldonado Jr. of Bowling Green, Ohio; Xavier (Jean) Baldonado of Rossford, Ohio;
and Steve Baldonado of Pensacola, Floridia; grandchildren: Aleesia and Tyler
Baldonado; and a special friend Wayne English.
Visitation will be on Monday, July 16, 2012 from 11 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. in the
DECK-HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME, 1460 W. Wooster St., Bowling Green, Ohio,
419-352-2171. Nelda’s Funeral Mass will be held at 1 p.m. in the St Aloysius
Catholic Church, 150 South Enterprise, Bowling Green, Ohio. Burial will follow
in Wood County Memory Gardens, Bowling Green. Following the committal service,
the family would like to invite people to join them at the church for a time of
food and fellowship.
