Robert Weisenburger of Pemberville was one of 22 University of Dallas philosophy
students to present a paper, entitled "The Digital Mind," during the
Department of Philosophy’s inaugural Philosophy Senior Conference on March 17.

Victor Ten Brink of Bowling Green was admitted to the John Jay Institute’s Saratoga
Fellows program in Philadelphia, Penn. He will participate in a six-week
academic study of theology, philosophy, ethics, history, politics, and
jurisprudence as they pertain to America’s intellectual and moral traditions. He
is a 2012 graduate of Hillsdale College. He was recently commissioned as a 2nd
Lt. in the U.S. Marine Corps through the USMC Officer Candidates School’s
Platoon Leaders Class where he was named an Honor Graduate for finishing in the
top 10 percent of his class. Ten Brink is a Hillsdale College Distinct Scholar
and has received History Department honors for outstanding grades. He plans to
pursue a career of service in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Andrea Myers, Bowling Green, earned a bachelor of science in pharmaceutical sciences
degree from the University of Toledo College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical
Sciences on May 6. The daughter of Tim and Cathy Myers, she will continue her
training in the clinical laboratory science program through the Mercy Integrated
Labs in Toledo.
Amber Reynolds, an Elmwood High School graduate, made the dean’s list at Otterbein
University in Westerville for the spring semester. She is an early childhood
education major also focusing in special education. She will be a senior at
Otterbein in the fall.
Theresa Sheldon, from Bloomdale, received a physician assistant science master’s
degree at the 161st commencement exercises held at Saint Francis University in
Loretto, Pa., on May 6.
Zachary Titkemeier of Luckey, a sophomore chemical engineering major, and Dominic
Zelenak of Fostoria, a junior mechanical engineering major from Fostoria, were
named to the spring semester president’s list at Trine University.
Rosemary Szparagowski of Bowling Green earned a Bachelor of Science degree in
combined science from Youngstown State University in May.
