Paul L. Schroeder, age 64, of Wayne, OH passed away peacefully Thursday (June 14,
2012) at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on December 24, 1947In Wayne to the late Henry Wilson and Violet Marie
(Nelson) Schroeder. He married Mimi A. Nonnemaker on November 25, 1967 in Wayne.

Surviving is his loving wife of 44 years, Mimi; Son Gregory (Amanda) Schroeder of
Bloomdale; Daughters Holly (Rodney) Aurand of Wayne, Heather (John) Shamp of
Pinckney, MI; Brothers Henry (Judith) Schroeder of Bradner, Robert (Carol)
Schroeder and Roy (Esther) Schroeder both of Wayne, Dale (Sheri) Schroeder of
Des Moines, Iowa; Sisters Janet Bennett and Alice (William) Lambert both of
Wayne, Carol Harris of Northwood; and Grandchildren Austin, Shaun, Abigail,
Mason, and Gavin.
He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Violet, and brother-in-law Dale.

Paul was a 1966 Graduate of Elmwood High School, and he proudly served his country in
the Navy during the Vietnam War.
He went to Mill Wright and got his Journeymans Card, and then worked for Morgan AMT
(formerly Union Carbide) in Fostoria.
He was a member of the Albert Bowe American Legion Post 338 in Bradner, he was a
former commander of the former American Legion Post 317 in Wayne, and he was a
Boy Scout Leader. Paul enjoyed fishing, furniture restoration, wood working,
canoeing, boating, playing euchre and he was an avid reader.
Friends and family will be received Saturday (June 16, 2012) from 4 to 8 p.m. at
Barndt Funeral Home in Wayne, OH. A Graveside Service will be held at Graham
Cemetery, in Wayne, Ohio, on Monday (June 18, 2012) at 11a.m., with Pastor Mark
Kuhlman officiating. Military rights will be performed by the Albert Bowe
American Legion Post 338. There will be a luncheon immediately following at the
American Legion in Bradner.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Bridge Hospice, the Albert Bowe American
Legion, and the Wayne Fire Department.
