To the Editor: Plea bargaining should only be done with victim’s consent

So what’s going on in Prosecuting Attorney Paul Dobson’s office?
I hear that his assistant Walter Meneses, a former public defender, is being allowed
to plea bargain sexual assault cases down to non-sex offenses and advocate for
the perpetrators at sentencing against the victim’s consent.
Isn’t that a little like re-victimizing the victims?
I guess Meneses is lucky that he works for Paul Dobson. Betty Montgomery or Alan
Mayberry would have fired him.
