Fatal crash on Ohio Turnpike under investigation

AMHERST, Ohio (AP) — State troopers are investigating a
fatal accident on the Ohio Turnpike involving at least six vehicles,
including a charter bus.
The State Highway Patrol in Milan said Saturday that at least one person died in the
accident near Amherst in northern Ohio.
Investigators are still gathering information regarding the crash, which occurred at
about 10:30 p.m. EDT Friday.
Authorities said at least six eastbound vehicles were involved, and there could
possibly be a seventh vehicle.
The
patrol said Cynthia Dent of Detroit died from injuries suffered in the
crash. Authorities said Robert E. Wilburn II of Toledo was critically
injured while operating a charter bus owned by Lakefront Lines Inc.
A woman who answered the telephone at Lakefront Lines in Cleveland said no one was
available to comment.
