Mary Ellen Di Summa, age 72, of Bradner, Ohio, passed away on Monday (March 19, 2012) at the Bridge
Hospice Care Center in Bowling Green.
She was born on May 10, 1939 in Toledo to the late Hubert and Lorna (Brown) Fulford. She married Giuseppe
"Joe" Di Summa on March 23, 1982 in Toledo.
Surviving is her loving husband of 29 years Joe; sons, John Alvarado, Alexander Alvarado both of Toledo;
Arthur Alvarado of Texas; step-daughter, Erin (Danny) Hernandez of Neapolis; sister, Joyce Schmeer of
Virginia; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; step-granddaughters, Savanah and Maya.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Lester and sister, Jean Holman.
Mary Ellen had worked for the LaSalle’s Department Store in Toledo and was a homemaker.
She formerly attended Bradner United Methodist Church in Bradner.
A Private Graveside Service will be held at a later date with burial in Bradner Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society.
