Burglary reported
LIME CITY – A big-screen TV and other items were reported stolen following a burglary
in Perrysburg Township late last month.
Township Police report that on Feb. 24 at 4:30 p.m. a resident in the 12400 block of
Washington Street reported that he had come home to find that their home had
been entered. A 55-inch flat-screen television was discovered missing from the
site. Upon further investigation the resident found that a jewelry box had also
been tampered with.
Insurance Women meet Wednesday
PERRYSBURG – The next meeting of the Insurance Women of Toledo (IWOT) will be held
Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at Fat Fish Blue, Levis Commons, 6140 Levis Commons Blvd.

State offers to check boats
PORT CLINTON – Sport anglers and boaters can help keep recreational fishing and
boating safe and pleasurable by taking advantage of free vessel safety
inspections in northwest Ohio by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources’
Division of Watercraft and its boating partners.
Boat safety inspections of the season are being offered by the Division of Watercraft
Wednesday and March 24 from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the Mazurik Boat Ramp in Danbury
Township just east of Port Clinton. Additional safety inspections this month are
being held in Oak Harbor. An inspection will be held on March 25 at Turtle Creek
Campground from 2 to 3 p.m. Two other inspections will be held at Fenwick
Marina, with one on March 30 from 5 to 6 p.m. and another on March 31 from 9 to
10 a.m.
