BG woman held in felonious assault

One woman was arrested after she reportedly attacked another woman with a pair of scissors Friday and
attempted to cut her hair.
Bowling Green Police report that just before 12:15 p.m. in the 200 block of South Main Street, Carly
Colarusso, 22, Bowling Green, entered the apartment of her ex-boyfriend and found another woman in his
bed.
She then reportedly grabbed a handful of the woman’s hair and attempted to cut her hair.
The victim pulled away and was able to wrest the scissors from Colarusso’s hand, sustaining a small
abrasion on her right arm.
Colarusso was pulled off of the bed by her ex-boyfriend, but broke free and again attacked the victim.
She was then pushed out of the apartment door by the man.
Colarusso was arrested for felonious assault and lodged in the Wood County Justice Center with no bond.

A court date in the incident is set for Wednesday.
