Florence A. Krebs, 79, of Custar, OH passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at her residence surrounded
by her loving family.
Florence was born to the late Martin and Rosa Wilhelm. Florence is also preceded in death by her husband:
Richard D. Krebs; granddaughter: Melissa Hutton; sisters: Gertrude Bechstein, Bernice Wilhelm, Catherine
Milligan, Helen Laytart; brothers: Edward, Gilbert, Charles, Carl, Martin, Howard, and James.
Surviving Florence are her children: Tena (Bob) Spratt, Steve Krebs, Marilyn Hoops, Diane (George) Clark,
Teresa (Dennis) Lashaway; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister: Rosemary Wilcox.
Florence was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, she enjoyed travelling, gardening, bird watching,
garage sales, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Friends and family will be received at the Wright-Habegger Funeral Home, 24084 W. Second Street, Grand
Rapids, Ohio 43522, on Friday, December 9, 2011 from 1 to 3 p.m. and from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will
be held at St Louis Catholic Church, 22792 Defiance Pike, Custar, OH 43511 on Saturday, December 10,
2011 at 11 a.m. with Reverend David Tscherne officiating. A private burial is scheduled for a later date
at St. Louis Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be gifted in Florence’s honor to the Cocoon Battered Women’s Shelter, Bowling
Green, OH or to a Veterans Organization of the Donor’s Choice.
