Team Taber takes city tourney lead
Team Taber moved into first place Monday night in the team event of the city bowling championships at
Varsity Lanes. The team shot 3,367 with handicap.
The new leaders were led by Kevin Taber with games of 279, 238 and 260 for a 777 series. Ryan Vojtush
added games of 266 and 237 in his 705 series. The remainder of the team were Tony Romaker, Wally Fraker
and Brittany Poling.
The leaders after the first squad, Team Slater is now in second at 3,305. On Monday, MJ’s Diner moved
into third place at 3,299.
Joe Kominek bowled 719 Monday to lead Team Kominek into fourth place at 3,297. Team Lambert dropped to
fifth at 3,267.
