FULTON, Miss. (AP) — The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is looking into the death of an inmate at
the Itawamba County Jail.
The Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal reports (http://bit.ly/rS6gRm ) 40-year-old Brad Phillip Craig
of Toledo, Ohio, was found by officers at his cell at 6:57 p.m. Friday.
Sheriff Chris Dickinson said Craig committed suicide by hanging himself with a bed sheet.
Craig was arrested on a grand larceny charge in September.
Dickinson said Craig’s body will be sent to Jackson, Miss., for an autopsy, since he was an inmate who
died while in custody.
