Deer crashes into Ohio school bus, no students hurt

NEWARK, Ohio (AP) — A deer crashed through the windshield and into an Ohio school bus, which had no
students on board.
Superintendent
David Hile of the Licking County schools east of Columbus says the
animal smashed through the passenger side of the windshield and landed
seven rows back. Seats struck along the way were bent.
The Advocate newspaper of Newark reports (http://ohne.ws/uFliPy ) the deer was struck by
another vehicle and was thrown at the bus around 7 a.m. Tuesday.
Hile says the bus driver was beginning her route at the time and was shaken up but not seriously hurt.
