Bowling Green Police are seeking information on a weekend assault that sent a university student to the
hospital.
Police have identified the victim as Matthew T. Ralston, 21, of Beavercreek and with a local address at
the Phi Delta Theta fraternity house at Bowling Green State University.
Ralston was found on the ground, bleeding, early Saturday morning near the Wood County Courthouse. EMS
transported Ralston to Wood County Hospital; he later was transferred via air ambulance to Mercy St.
Vincent Medical Center, Toledo. The hospital did not have a patient by the name this morning.
Police believe the incident occurred between 12:30 and 12:42 a.m. Saturday.
