I-75 rest area to close Monday
Beginning Monday through November, the southbound Interstate 75 rest area, south of Bowling Green, will
be closed for pavement repair.
The project is to be complete by the end of November, weather permitting.
Fundraiser Tues. for BG Lions
The BG Evening Lions are holding a fundraiser at the South MainStreet McDonald’s from 4 to 7 p.m.
Wednesday.
Funds raised will help provide BG families with vision and community needs.
Holiday Parade seeks volunteers
Volunteers are still need for the Bowling Green Community Holiday Parade Nov. 19.
It takes nearly 100 volunteers to make the parade run smoothly each year. Various duties are available,
and individuals can volunteer in shifts of 2 or 4 hours.
Light refreshments are provided for volunteers.

Haskins judging, parade Saturday
HASKINS – A Halloween parade, costume judging and treat or treat is scheduled for Saturday.
At 5 p.m. costume judging will be held at Haskins Elementary. Age groups for judging: 0-1,
2-4,5-7,8-9,10-14,13-17 and adults.
The parade begins at 6, with line up in the elementary parking lot and marches down Findlay Street to the
Fire Hall.
Enjoy the Otsego Marching band, cider and donuts then head out for trick or treat from 6:30 to 8.
Pork chop dinner Sun. at Bradner
BRADNER – The Bradner American Legion, 209 W. Crocker, will serve a pork chop dinner on Sunday from 11
a.m. to 2 p.m.
The meal will include scalloped potatoes, green beans, roll and dessert. The cost is $6 and carryout
