Tonight, We Are Ohio will be holding a grand opening for a new downtown Bowling Green office that will
help coordinate campaign efforts in Wood County and the surrounding area.
The event will start at 6 p.m. at 140 E. Wooster St.
The office will be used as a center for phone calls and door-to-door canvassing efforts to educate the
public about Issue 2.
Volunteers will be urging voters to vote "No" on Issue 2 and to let them know that a
"No" vote on Issue 2 will repeal Senate Bill 5. Volunteers will also be reminding the public
of the sacrifices that public employees have made at a time when politicians in Columbus have been
exempting themselves and giving their staffs raises.
We Are Ohio is a citizen-driven, community-based, bipartisan coalition that has come together to repeal
SB 5, the unfair attack on employee rights and worker safety.
