Bengals waive Dahlman
CINCINNATI – Former Bowling Green Falcon long snapper Neal Dahlman has been waived by the Cincinnati
Bengals. Dahlman had been signed as an undrafted free agent.
BGHS CC practice starts
Any Bowling Green High School student who is interested in joining the cross country team this season
should attend practice Monday at 7:30 a.m. at the flag pole in front of the high school.

Owens athletes receive academic honors
Eleven Owens Community College athletes have been selected to receive 2010-11 Academic Student-Athlete
Award honors by the National Junior College Athletic Association.
Eastwood graduate Alyssa LaVoy (volleyball) and Bowling Green High School graduate Brooks Gardner (men’s
golf) were among those receiving the honor.
LaVoy earned the Pinnacle Award, given to those with a 4.0 grade point average. Gardner received the
Exemplary Academic Achievement award with a 3.62 GPA.
Ohio Stingrays U-11 baseball tryouts
The Ohio Stingrays youth travel baseball organization will be holding tryouts for its U-11 team for the
2012 season.
Players must be under the age of 12 as of May 2. Tryouts will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Carter Park.
