Concert continues anniversary celebration
PERRYSBURG – St. Rose Parish will continue its 150th anniversary celebration with a brass and organ
concert Saturday at 7 p.m.
The Academy Brass and Charlotte Mariasy, playing the parish’s 1870 Garrett House organ, will play at the
event, which is free and open to the public. A reception will follow.
Fifth Friday dinner tonight
Peace Lutheran Church, 1021 W. Wooster St., will be hosting another "Fifth Friday Feast at
Peace." The free community dinner is open to everyone and will be held tonight from 5 to 7 p.m.
The menu will be a hot dog picnic with sundae bar. Dinner music provided by the Peace Band.

‘Before I Die …’
PERRYSBURG – CedarCreek Church has kicked off its 3-week series titled. ‘Before I die, I want to….."
and the church is asking to hear from people in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan with what they
would want to experience before they die. People can go to www.beforeidie.tv and post their reply or
they can write their wish on the Before I Die panel truck that will is making various stops around the
area.
Outdoor service set
STONY RIDGE – There will be a community worship service held Sunday at 10 a.m.at St. John’s Lutheran
Church in Stony Ridge. The service will be held under the tent on the lawn of the church. A potluck
lunch follows the service.
The public is invited to attend.
Senior CSI event set
PERRYSBURG – CSI, Christian Seniors Interacting, invite all seniors in the area to attend its next
meeting to be held Aug. 9 at Abundant Life No. 2, 200 Zoar Drive, Perrysburg. The event is held twice
each month from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. There is a $3 charge for miscellaneous expenses.
The 11:30 a.m. Bible study will be led by Pastor Daniel Walkins of Oak Bend Church. Lunch is served at
noon, provided by Perrysburg Commons.
The program which follows will be "Song Stories" with pianist George Kalbouss.

made by next Friday.
Concerts set for ‘Truck Stop Ministries’
NORTH BALTIMORE – Truck Stop Ministries, Inc., has announced concerts for August. Each of the concerts is
scheduled to be held at the Trucker’s Chapel located at Petro Truck Stop. The facility is located at
Interstate 75 and Ohio Route 18 in North Baltimore.
The line up includes Rich Adkins on Aug. 7; His Servants on Aug. 14; Jimmy Bloomfield on Aug. 21; and
Called on Aug. 28.
Each concert is set to begin at 6 p.m. Those attending should bring their own lawn chair.
SSLqSuds and Salvation’ to meet
ELMORE – Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Elmore, will continue its Suds and Salvation series on Aug.
2, at 7 p.m. at Portage Inn in Elmore.
The topic will be "Hell. Is there really such a place and how might you end up there?"
