The Chicago Cultural Center was the setting for the April 30 wedding of Molly Boren and Carlos Gonzalez.
Vows were exchanged in an 11 a.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Donald and Margaret "Peggy" Boren, Lorraine Avenue, Bowling Green.
The groom’s parents are Celedonio and Deborah Gonzalez, New York, N.Y.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
The flower girl for the ceremony was Uma Rao, niece of the bride.
Sanjay Rao, nephew of the bride, served as the ring bearer.
A local reception was held in the home of Don and Peggy Boren.
Following a honeymoon trip to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, the newlyweds are making their home at
5552 N. Broadway St., No. 3R, Chicago, Ill. 60640.
The bride graduated from Bowling Green High School in 1993 and Miami University, Oxford, in 1997. She is
employed as a personal organizer.
The groom graduated from LaGuardia High School, New York City, in 1996; New York University in 2000; and
The French Pastry School, Chicago, in 2005. He is currently employed as a pastry cook.
