Earlier this month, Michael Evans, 28, of Waterville was found not guilty of rape following a 3-day jury
trial held in the courtroom of Wood Common Pleas Court Judge Robert Pollex.
The man had been charged with an alleged 2009 rape of a 20-year-old woman. Evans did take the stand on
his own behalf. Pollex accepted the jury’s verdict and acquitted the defendant.
