Erin LeGalley, Bowling Green, made the dean’s list for spring term in Miami University’s College of Arts
and Sciences after earning at least a 3.50 gpa for the term. She is a 2008 graduate of Bowling Green
High School.
Christopher Larabee, Bowling Green, was named to the dean’s list of Macalester College for academic
achievement during the spring semester. A graduate of Bowling Green High School, Larabee was a senior at
Macalester, in St. Paul, Minn., last spring.
Kathryn Matuszak and May Robertson, both of Perrysburg, were named to the dean’s list for spring semester
at Columbia College Chicago. Matuszak is a graphic design major and Robertson is majoring in fiction
writing. To make the list, they had to have a 3.75 grade point average or better.
More than 720 students graduated from the University of Findlay during spring commencement in May. Monica
Hogrefe, Bowling Green, earned a doctor of pharmacy; Megan Rutherford, Bowling Green, a bachelor of
science in adolescent/young adult/integrated mathematics education; Ryan Rothenbuhler, Cygnet, a
bachelor of arts in history; and Brianna Milne, Perrysburg, a bachelor of science in
mathematics/adolescent/young adult/integrated mathematics education. From Bloomdale, Sandra Alesch
received a bachelor of science in middle childhood education, summa cum laude; Kayla Chapman earned a
bachelor of science in accounting/human resource management, also summa cum laude; and Robert Marsh
earned a bachelor of science in business management. From North Baltimore, Cheryl Kruse received a
bachelor of science in business management; Kelly Podolak earned a doctor of pharmacy; and Melissa
Shoemaker earned a master of arts in education.
Rachael Zimmerman, Bowling Green, was named to Graceland University’s president’s list after earning a
4.0 gpa for the term. The university is in Lamoni, Iowa.
Rosemary L. Szparagowski, Bowling Green, was named to the dean’s list at Youngstown State University for
spring semester.
Lily Schmidt, Bowling Green, has been awarded membership to Alpha Lambda Delta national honor society
Wittenberg University. Jeremy R. Baker, also of Bowling Green, was awarded with membership to Phi Beta
Kappa national honor society.
William F. Krueger, Perrysburg, was awarded with membership to Pick and Pen at Wittenberg University at
spring honors convocation. Pick and Pen is a junior honorary emphasizing leadership, service and
scholarship.
Aaron C. Swartz, Perrysburg, has been awarded membership to Chi Alpha Sigma national college athletic
honor society at Wittenberg University.
Jack Schemenauer, of Luckey, who attended Eastwood High School, has earned a bachelor of arts degree at
Ohio Wesleyan University.
