Dave and Donajean (Spoerl) Eckel, Bowling Green, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday.

They were married July 1, 1961 in St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Bowling Green, by Fr. Joseph Hartmann.

The Eckels have been engaged in farming since their marriage.
They are the parents of Jodi Moughamian, Suzanne Johnson and John Eckel, all of Bowling Green, and
Kathleen Wachholz of Nazareth, Pa. They also have seven grandchildren, Mark and Nathan Moughamian, Simon
and Alex Wachholz, Stephanie Johnson and Andrew and Dylan Eckel.
A family celebration dinner is planned.
