MAUMEE – The community is invited to "a party at the beach" as Hospice of Northwest Ohio marks
its 30th anniversary June 30 from 5 – 8 p.m. at the Pinnacle in Maumee.
The event is being held rain or shine and features gourmet grazing, a cash bar and music by Hospice of
Northwest Ohio’s medical director, Dr. John McGreevey, and his band Symptom Management.
Admission is $10 at the door; attire is casual. The Pinnacle is located at 1772 Indian Wood Circle.
Being held as part of The Pinnacle’s Twylite Thursday series, with half of the proceeds benefiting
Hospice, the event will include a variety of "summer fun" raffle prizes donated by long-time
Hospice of Northwest Ohio suppliers. Each person who attends will receive one free raffle ticket, with
more available for sale that evening.
Hospice of Northwest Ohio, based in Perrysburg, off East River Road, has been caring for the community
since 1981. As the first and only independent, non-profit hospice serving northwest Ohio and southeast
Michigan, Hospice cares for almost 3,000 patients a year in their own homes, nursing homes, or at our
two inpatient centers. No one is ever turned away due to inability to pay.
