BG’s N. Main St. project explained
The Ohio Department of Transportation will hold an informational meeting on the North Main Street
widening project Monday.
The 1 p.m. meeting will be held at Woodland Mall in the Dunham Sports wing.
Representatives of the ODOT, city and BG Chamber of Commerce will explain the project and answer
questions.
Fairview Ave. closed Monday
Fairview Avenue, between West Merry Street and Conneaut Avenue, will be closed to through traffic Monday
beginning at 7:30 a.m.
Access to driveways will be maintained.
The city’s Water Distribution/Wastewater Collection Division will make a sewer repair in the
Fairview/Evers intersection. The road will reopen when work is completed.
Oak Grove work Monday morning
Vehicular traffic into Oak Grove Cemetery will be prohibited Monday morning from approximately 8 to 11.
The road at the cemetery entrance, off East Merry, will be paved.
Pedestrians may continue to use the Merry entrance but are cautioned to be mindful of heavy equipment in
the area.
Ohio 281 will be closed
The Ohio Department of Transportation has announced closure of Ohio 281 east of McCutchenville Road. This
closure is scheduled to begin on June 13 and last for seven days.
The suggested detour is McCutchenville Road (Ohio 199) and U.S. 6.
Montgomery Twp. changes meeting
BRADNER – Montogomery Township Trustees have changed their meeting scheduled for Tuesday to Wednesday at
7 p.m. in the township building at 1950 Mermill Road.
