SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Toledo built a 4-0 lead during the first three innings Friday on the way to a 7-1 win
over Syracuse in an International League game.
Andy Dirks had three hits for Toledo, while Scott Sizemore, Timo Perez and Ryan Strieby each had two.
Perez hit a three-run home run, and Dirks added a solo homer.
Adam Wilk, Matt Hoffman and Brendan Wise combined to pitch a six-hitter for Toledo.
