Notice
is hereby given that the Board of Township Trustees of Milton Township, Wood
County, Ohio, will receive sealed bids until the 24th day of May,
2011 at 8:00 PM for the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, machinery and
equipment necessary for improvement of various township roads, all in accordance
with the estimate as prepared by the Wood County Engineer, to wit: Milton Twp.
Roadwork – 2011: Tar and Chip approx. 6.7 mile of roads. (Two mile of Bays Road.
One mile each of Rangeline, Weston, Roundhead, and Maplewood Roads. Poplar Road
approx. .2 mile, Countyline Road approx. .5 mile) Further information as to
plans, specifications, estimates, etc. may be obtained by contacting said Board.
Proposals for bidding may be obtained at Twp. Fiscal Officer’s home or calling
419-669-2282. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check equal to Ten
(10) percent of the amount of the bid. All bids shall be signed by a properly
authorized person of the company or firm submitting the bid; all bids shall be
sealed and plainly marked: “SEALED BID FOR MILTON TOWNSHIP
ROADWORK –

2011.” Such proposals shall be filed with the Milton Township Fiscal Officer

whose address is 9395 Milton Road, Custar, Ohio 43511. The successful bidder
shall be required to give a performance bond in the amount of the contract as
accepted. The said Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any or all
bids submitted. Bids for such improvement will be opened and read by the Board
