SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Toledo won its fourth consecutive game Thursday, downing Syracuse 7-2 in International
League play. The Mud Hens are 10-12.
Toledo had 14 hits in the game, led by Bryan Pounds who went 4-for-4 with a double, run batted in and a
run scored. Andy Dirks and John Murrian each had multiple hits and drove in two runs for the ‘Hens.
Starter Duane Below went seven innings for the win, allowing one earned run on five hits with five
strikeouts.
