Myron W. Chipley

Myron W. "Chip" Chipley, 68, of Perrysburg Township, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2011.
He was born in Ross Township to the late John and Sophia (Bobak) Chipley.
Myron is survived by his sister: Nancy (Charles) Teet of Grand Rapids; a nephew, Thomas (Annette) Teet of
Bowling Green; a niece, Tania (Terry) Jarrett of Bridgeport, West Virginia; great nieces and nephews:
Sarah, Zain and Shane Jafri, Jenna Teet, Briana, Drew and Chelsey DeVore.
Myron was a switchman for the B&O and for CSX railroad.
He was a 1960 graduate of St. Francis De Sales High School where he was a member of the basketball team.

Myron proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War, where he was stationed
on the USS Kitty Hawk.
Over the years Myron followed all kinds of sporting events and he personally enjoyed golfing and bowling.
He also loved to travel throughout the United States, Mexico and especially Puerto Rico.
Myron was an avid student of the stock market which he charted daily.
Myron was a kind and giving individual, and he treasured time spent with friends, and family. He was
dedicated to his mother whom he helped take care of until her passing. He will be sadly missed by his
friends and family.
Visitation will be Friday, April 29, 2011 from 2 to 8 p.m. in the DECK-HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME &
CREMATORY, 1460 W. Wooster St., PO Box 648, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402; Tele: 419/352-2171. His Funeral
Service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2011 in the funeral home, with burial to follow at
Tontogany Cemetery with military honors.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choosing.
