Jeanne E. Newlove, 90, of 1300 Circle Drive, St. Marys, died on Sunday, April 24, 2011 at the Otterbein –
St. Marys Retirement Center.
Jeanne was born on December 8, 1920 in rural Wood County, OH the daughter of Claude and Marian (Boltz)
Brobst. She married Clyde P. Newlove on April 23, 1941 at the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church in North
Baltimore, Ohio and he preceded her in death on Oct. 5, 2000.
She is survived by her son: Dane (Karen) Newlove, St. Marys, and three grandchildren: Lindsey, Amanda and
Troy Newlove.
Jeanne graduated in 1938 from Cygnet High School and she retired in 1983 from District 1 of the Ohio
State Patrol where she served for years as the Drivers License examiner. She was a devoted mother and
grandmother who greatly loved supporting the activities of her grandchildren. She was a dedicated
follower and fan of all of the St. Marys Memorial High School music groups. She was especially fond of
her favorite Basset hound, Cocoa.
She was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Marys, OH.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 27, 2011 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605
Celina Road. Father Anthony Cutcher will officiate the funeral Mass at Holy Rosary Catholic Church at
10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2011. Burial will follow at the New Maplewood Cemetery in North
Baltimore, Ohio.
The family prefers that memorials be directed to the Grand Lake Hospice.
