WAUSEON – Isabelle Jane Lammon, age 92, of rural Wauseon, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2011, in her
home, with her family present.
Prior to her retirement in 1978, she had worked at Perfection Finishers in Wauseon for 22 years.
Isabelle was born in Adrian, Michigan on September 18, 1918, the daughter of the late Joshap and the late
Edith (Hamann) Mattausch. On June 6, 1936 she married Herthel Lammon, and he preceded her in death in
1998.
She was a member of Crossroads Evangelical Church in Wauseon. Isabelle sang in the church choir, was a
Sunday School Teacher, and a Bible School Teacher for the children.
Surviving are her children, Stan (Linda) Lammon of Lexington, OH, Judy (Jerry) Sampson of Blissfield, MI,
Karen (Jim) Moden of Wauseon, Merrilyn McCallister of Cortland, OH, Deanna (Larry) Appelhans of Bradner,
OH, Roger (Brenda) Lammon of Bryan, OH; 16 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; one
great-great-grandchild; many nieces and nephews, and faithful companion, Tucker.
Preceding her in death besides her parents and husband, were her brother, Joseph Mattausch and sister,
Frances.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 2011 in the Chapel at Crossroads Evangelical
Church, with Jim Moden officiating. Interment will follow in the Ottokee Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.

The family requests that memorial contributions be given to Crossroads Evangelical Church or Hospice of
Williams and Fulton Counties.
