Norma Querin Longsdorf, 85 of Lodi, OH passed away Friday, April 22, 2011 at her home.
She was born March 1, 1926 in Lakewood, OH to Alfred S. and Mabel (Blackhall) Tawse.
She was raised in Lodi where she graduated from Lodi High School in 1944.
She married Robert Querin on April 27, 1946 and had resided in Bowling Green, Ohio.
She was a member of the Bowling Green First United Methodist Church since 1962, where she was a member of
the choir. She also volunteered for the Wheeled Meals program in Bowling Green for over 20 years.
She enjoyed sewing, reading, gardening and had traveled extensively, visiting Nova Scotia, Western
Canada, Alaska, British Isles, Australia, South America and Southeast Asia.
At the age of 76 she rode her first 4-wheeler and at age 78 went on her first camping trip.
Surviving are: Husband, Max Longsdorf, to whom she married on Aug. 4, 2001; Daughters, Bonnie Querin of
Bowling Green, OH; Barbara (Ralph) Godell of Denver, CO; and Betty (Jerry) Smith of Sylvania, OH;
Stepchildren, Curtis (Helen) Longsdorf of Berea, OH; Carol (Frosty) King of Creston, OH; and Connie
Jones of Mansfield, OH; four grandchildren, Erika and Alex Godell, and Colin and Quinn Smith; eight
Stepgrandchildren, Heather (Rocky) Baith, Chad (Fran) Longsdorf, Will (Jennifer) King, Lynsdey (Travis)
Shepherd, Tiffany King, Brittany Jones, Brianna Jones and Hope Jones-Morris; 11 stepgreat-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Robert Querin in 1989 and brother Ray Tawse.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, April 26, at 10 a.m. at the Lafayette United Methodist Church, 6201
Lafayette Rd., Lafayette, OH. Pastor John Meliher will officiate. Private family interment will be at
Sunset Memorial Park in North Olmsted, OH. Visitation will be Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the
Parker & Son Funeral Home, 210 Medina St., Lodi, OH.
