BG youth bowling champions decided

Team Storm won the older division of the annual Bowling Green City Youth bowling tournament last weekend
at Varsity Lanes. Bowling Kings won the bantam division.
Team Storm totaled 2,875 to earn the first place trophies in the junior division. Juan Ybanes led the
team with games of 258 and a pair of 221 efforts for a 700 series. John Przybylski added 225 and 227 for
a 605 series. Derek Rucki had a 545 series and Andrew Jasso totaled 530.
Second-place in the junior division went to The Cook Team. Kelsey Parker led the team with a 225 game in
her 516 series. Kat Przybylski added a 190, 502. Hannah Cook, 494 as Jordan Cook, with 424, completed
the team scoring. With handicap the team had 2,740 total pins.
Mikayla Young recorded the high series in the tournament with her 701 effort. She had games of 210, 267
and 224.
Bowling Kings totaled 2,767 with handicap for its win. Lukas Wright led the team with high games of 234
and 236 in his 368 series. Jonah Houtz added a 121 game and 325 series. Peyton Kominek totaled 265 and
Adam Jasso, 199, to complete the team series. -RYAN
