Norma Stickler, a member of the Woman’s Club of Bowling Green, was elected as Northwest District’s
representative to the Scholarship Board of Trustees of the Ohio Federation of Women’s Club, which
administers the five awards given by OFWC.
Each of the five districts in Ohio has a representative on the board with district elections having being
held at the Legislation Day program March 25.
Stickler, a member of the Bowling Green club since 1998, serves as chairman of the club’s local
scholarship program.
Scholarships given by the state organization include the GFWC/OFWC Clubwoman Scholarship, Ethel G.
Swanbeck Allied Health Scholarship, Elaine Weinman Memorial Scholarship (communication arts), GFWC/OFWC
Art Scholarship, and the Annette Phelps Lincoln Scholarship for teaching and library work.
Each scholarship is awarded annually to a graduating high school student from applicants throughout Ohio.
