There were 58 Master Gardeners from all over Ohio who gathered at Simpson Garden Park in Bowling Green on
March 19.
The occasion was a landscape design seminar with Dr. Laura Deeter. She is an associate professor with
Ohio State University, Agricultural Technical Institute.
The Master Gardeners learned basic design principles and concepts, basic drafting skills as well the
design process and types of plans. The seminar was hosted by the Wood County Master Gardeners.
