Orders being taken for annual plant sales
Wood County Park District Friends of the Parks annual plant sale is now accepting orders to purchase
locally grown annuals, hanging baskets, organically grown herbs and native plants. Order forms, which
are due by April 27, are available at http://www.wcparks.org.
Also the native plant sale and flower pick-up is set for May 7 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Park District
headquarters on Mercer Road. Organizers note these will arrive just in time for Mother’s Day.
