Wood County Sheriff Mark Wasylyshyn announced Monday that the sheriff’s office will have increased patrol
activity during St. Patrick’s Day thanks to funding from the Ohio Traffic Safety Office.
Deputies will work additional hours, funded by the grant, looking for impaired drivers, enforcing traffic
laws and monitoring speed and seat belt violations.
This blitz will run from Thursday through Sunday.
