Pet food drive through 3/12

Humane Ohio, a local non-profit organization, offers low-cost spay/neuter to all area pet parents and a
special, even lower rate to pet parents on federal assistance. The group also runs the Humane Ohio Pet
Food Bank which makes pet food available to pet parents in need in Lucas, Wood and Monroe counties.
In an effort to support the community and keep pets with their families, Huntington Bank is holding a pet
food drive to benefit the Humane Ohio Pet Food Bank. This special pet food drive will take place through
March 12. People who wish to support the pet food drive can donate wet or dry food at 28 Huntington Bank
branches throughout the Greater Toledo area (visit www.humaneohio.org for a full list of participating
branches).
People who are in need of low-cost spay/neuter or pet food can call Humane Ohio at 419-266-5607 or visit
www.humaneohio.org for details. The Humane Ohio Pet Food Bank also makes bird food and small animal food
(like hamster) available when possible, and helps provide food to people who are caring for free-roaming
cats and implementing TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return).
