BG pool update planned Monday
The Parks and Recreation Committee of Bowling Green City Council will meet Monday at 6:30 p.m. in the
Council Chamber to hear an update from Parks and Recreation Director Dr. Michelle Grigore regarding the
city’s aquatic facility.
Haskins police Monday topic
HASKINS – The Haskins Rules and Ordinance Committee will meet Monday at 6:15 p.m. in the town hall to
discuss the proposed auxiliary police ordinance.
Rossford gets FEMA grant
ROSSFORD – The Rossford Fire Department has received a $52,250 Homeland Security grant from the federal
government.
Mayor Bill Verbosky said the money will be used to upgrade the department’s turnout gear.
He also noted this is the third FEMA grant the fire department has secured, bring the total to $211,896.

Dementia topic for Exchange
Debbie Hatfield, Heritage Corner Health Care Campus’s new programs manager, will speak about dementia and
memory care at Tuesday’s meeting of the Bowling Green Exchange Club.
Hatfield has worked in the health care field for more than 30 years. She is a graduate of Bowling Green
State University with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work and is licensed in Ohio as a social worker
and a nursing home administrator.
Sheo versees one of the newest additions to Heritage Corner Health Care Campus, Manley Memory Care Wing,
which specializes in the care of individuals with dementia.
The Bowling Green Exchange Club holds a luncheon meeting every Tuesday at noon at the Stone Ridge Golf
Course Club House.
