Lakota-Elmwood boys ruled "no contest"
JERRY CITY – The Elmwood-Lakota boys basketball game scheduled for last Tuesday has been ruled a "no
contest" by the Ohio High School Athletic Association.
As a result, each team will play 19 regular-season games this year.
Falcon track signs recruit
Bowling Green’s women’s track and field team has announced the addition of recruit Shana Flanary, who
specializes in throwing events.
Flanary, from Flat Rock, Mich., won the 2008 national championship in the hammer throw at the USATF
Junior Olympics in the intermediate girls division.
She was also named Monroe High School’s most valuable player in 2010.
BG adult softball meeting planned
An informational/organizational meeting for spring and summer adult softball at Bowling Green’s Carter
Park is March 6 at 7 p.m. in the Henschen Building (the red building).
The meeting is for men’s, women’s, coed and church leagues.
Teams planning on having a team this season should have a representative at the meeting.

BG Pee Wee League needs coaches for two teams
The Bowling Green Pee Wee League is looking for BG residents and university students to coach two youth
baseball teams this spring and summer at Carter Park.
The coaches are for teams in the Pee Wee (9-10) and Senior (13-15) divisions.

Weston baseball, softball registration is free
WESTON – Registration is free this season for Weston baseball and softball.
The remaining signup dates are Saturday from 9-11 a.m. and Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. in the Weston Town
Hal.
For those who have already paid, their fees will be refunded.
