‘Kids Sake’ benefit Saturday
The 31st annual "Bowl for Kids Sake" to benefit the local Big Brothers/Big Sisters organization
will be Saturday at Varsity Lanes in Bowling Green.
One of this year’s "celebrity" bowlers will be Clarissa Pardo, who has been in the program for
eight years with the same match. Pardo, the "little" sister is leaving the program this summer
to attend Ohio State University in math.
The grand prize awarded to one bowler from the various events around the entire agency, will be an Ohio
"Stay-cation" basket to be given away in June. Other prizes will be awarded to the local
bowlers.
Organizers say "It’s not about bowling – It’s about the kids."

Fostoria hosts tech, book sale
FOSTORIA – The sale of various pieces of technology will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The
Kaubisch Memorial Public Library, in conjunction with its semiannual book sale.
On sale are computer workstations and flat panel monitors, printers, a barcode scanner, three printers
and an analog satellite receiver.
The book sale will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and continues Monday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and
Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Books, videos, books on tape and magazines are bring sold.

Straub reward fund growing
HOLLAND – The reward for information in the investigation of the recent murder of Lisa Straub has been
increased to $16,000.
Straub, who died Jan. 30, is the niece of Rossford Fire Chief James Verbosky.
Donations to the Lisa Straub Benefit Fund can be made to any Fifth Third branch office.
