Car crash north of Bowling Green

Bowling Green rescue personnel work to free two teens after their 2001
Dodge Neon struck a tree Wednesday north of the city. Sandra A. Cooley,
18, the driver, and passenger Mackenzie A. Kellner, 17, both of
Whitehouse, were taken by air ambulance to Toledo Hospital. Cooley was
in serious condition, and Kellner in critical condition this morning.
According to police, Cooley was southbound on Haskins Road when her
vehicle went off the east side and struck a tree just north of 16662
Haskins Road. Snow may have played a factor in the crash. Both teens
were wearing seat belts, and both front-seat airbags deployed, according
to the report.
