BG Republicans meet Thursday
The Bowling Green Republican Club will hold its January meeting Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Stone Ridge
Clubhouse.
The speaker will be Republican mayoral candidate Dick Edwards. The meeting will last one hour.
Committee meets in Haskins Thurs.
HASKINS – The Facilities and Grounds committee of Haskins Village Council will be meeting on Thursday at
5:30 p.m. in the town hall. This committee will be discussing heat for the new police garage, demolition
of the old police garage, submitting a letter of interest to Thames Farm concerning the property next to
Lusher Park, and moving records out of the old garage.
BG Eagles serves breakfast
Bowling Green Eagles Club will offer a breakfast for the public this Saturday. It will be held from 8
a.m. to noon at the Eagles Club on North Main Street.
Dawley is Kiwanis guest
Dr. Dan Dawley of Bridge Home Health and Hospice will speak to the Bowling Green Kiwanis Club at noon on
Thursday at Stone Ridge Golf Club.
Dr. Dawley is the medical director of Bridge Home Health and Hospice. His facility provides hospice care
for individuals in the end-stages of life who are critically ill and expected to live six months or
less.
Motion filed to dismiss charges against Moore
The Wood County Prosecutor’s office has filed a motion to dismiss the two counts of receiving stolen
property charges against Randall Moore.
Moore, 32, of Perrysburg, was indicted in September. The motion filed cites evidentiary reasons, noting
"such request is made in the interest of justice."
