Grand jury indictments include rape, abduction, drug trafficking

A Holland man is facing charges for aggravated burglary, rape, felonious assault and abduction after his
indictment by the latest session of the Wood County grand jury. He was among 25 individuals charged by
the panel.
Also, a Walbridge man was indicted with three counts of gross sexual imposition.
Keith Taylor, 38, of Holland, is alleged to have forced entry into an apartment in North Baltimore on
Jan. 2, where he raped, assaulted and held a 27-year-old female victim against her will until Jan. 4.
The burglary and rape charges are first-degree felonies; his felonious assault count is a second-degree
offense, while the abduction is a third-degree charge.
He is to be arraigned on Feb. 1 before Judge Robert Pollex.
Kayl Lusher, 52, of Walbridge, is charged with having sexual conduct with three different girls, all
under age 13, with two of the girls under the age of 10. All the incidents are alleged to have occurred
on Dec. 11, 2010.
Lusher is also scheduled to appear in Pollex’s court.
Others indicted include:
¥ Norah Harris, 28, of Hope Hull, Ala., two counts of assault on a peace officer. (Pollex)
¥ Leann Jones, 29, of Toledo, theft from Sears. (Pollex)
¥ David Englehardt, 46, of Perrysburg, for breaking and entering. (Judge Reeve Kelsey)
¥ Kevin Neal, 21, Bowling Green, trafficking in cocaine, aggravated trafficking in drugs and possession
of cocaine, the latter two both with specifications. (Kelsey)
¥ David Carpenter, 39, of Perrysburg, three counts of possession of drugs. (Kelsey)
¥ Justin Case, 23, of Bowling Green, receiving stolen property. (Pollex)
¥ Michael Kontur, 48, Walbridge, two counts of trafficking in marijuana, both with specifications.

¥ Donald Schmidt Jr., 37, of Toledo, theft. (Kelsey)
In addition to the indictments, a bill of information was handed down for Leedall Garrett, 22, of Bowling
Green, for throwing an object into the path of a vehicle. He was charged with vehicular vandalism.
