Harley customers give $1,000 to N.A.O.M.I. program
PERRYSBURG – The local Signature Harley-Davidson along with Toledo Harley-Davidson celebrated the birth,
life and dream of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by joining with customers to give back to the community.
For three days prior to the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, both dealerships ran a promotion in which 5
percent of net sales of the parts and motor clothes departments on Jan. 14-16 generated $1,082 to a
local charity.
This year the chosen charity is the N.A.O.M.I. Transitional House Program. This program provides safe
transitional housing to homeless women throughout northwest Ohio, giving them the opportunity to become
self-supportive and productive influences to their families and communities.
"We’ve been raising funds for a new furnace in the house. This will go a great way in helping us
with that," said Executive Director Margaret Tisdale. Those wishing to make a direct donation to
N.A.O.M.I. should visit the website www.naomith.org.
