Cory A. Cook, 22, Tiffin, was arrested around 1:30 a.m. for menacing, criminal trespass, and disorderly
conduct/intoxicated. He was taken to jail. Police were called to an East Wooster Street restaurant after
Cook allegedly pounded on the drive-through window, threatened an employee, and refused to leave despite
being told to do so. Forty-five minutes earlier, Cook had been told by police to leave an apartment in
the 900 block of Klotz Road after he reportedly punched someone in the face.
Anthony K. Davis Jr., 26, Toledo, was arrested on an active warrant through Wood County, and was taken to
jail. He also was cited for three counts driving under suspension. A passenger in the vehicle, Craig L.
Miller, 23, Toledo, was arrested for use of a weapon while intoxicated. Miller’s handgun was
confiscated.
Richard M. Tanski III, BGSU, was cited for underage/under the influence after he left an East Wooster
Street pizzeria around 3:18 a.m. without paying his bill. Staff chased him, caught him, and returned him
to the restaurant to pay his $10.86 tab.
Jermaine L. Jones, 23, Toledo, was cited for marked lanes, obstructed view/snow and ice, operating a
vehicle while impaired, prohibited alcohol (BAC 0.209), and driving under suspension. He was taken to
jail.
A resident in the 200 block of Troup Avenue reported returning home and finding her front door forced
open. She was unsure if anything has been taken.
James A. Pugh, 20, Cleveland Heights, was arrested for two counts of theft, and was taken to jail. He
reportedly concealed a bottle of alcohol and attempted to leave an East Wooster Street liquor store
around 6:40 p.m. Staff reported he previously was observed shoplifting there in December, and
surveillance footage from that incident identified Pugh taking two bottles of alcohol. He admitted to
the thefts, according to police.

Craig P. Yates, 33, of Napoleon, was cited in city Lot 2 for operating a vehicle while impaired/refusal
and impeding traffic. He also was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon (fixed-blade knife), and was
taken to jail.
Police were called to the 1400 block of Muirfield Drive around 1:10 a.m. for a possible domestic
violence, but was told by the two parties it was a verbal argument only. However, EMS was called after
one subject reported ingesting pills.
EMS was called to the 1400 block of East Wooster Street around 1:35 a.m on a report of an unknown female
passed out in the caller’s vehicle. The female was taken to the hospital.
A party at an East Wooster Street motel was shut down after a 911 caller reported a large fight. All
subjects denied involvement, although EMS was called to treat one person who was bleeding from his hand.

A female who reportedly passed out in front of a North Main Street bar was taken to the hospital by EMS.

David W. Magrum, 21, Bowling Green,, was arrested for criminal trespass after he walked into a residence
in the 500 block of Buttonwood Avenue around 3:30 a.m. He was taken to jail.
Between 4:25 a.m. and 5:05 a.m., police helped two intoxicated subjects find their way home – one from
the 400 block of East Merry Avenue, and the other from the 500 block of North Enterprise Street.
A 51-year-old man and a juvenile were arrested for domestic violence shortly after 5 a.m. One was taken
to jail, no bond, and the other went to the juvenile detention center.
A fake $50 was reportedly accepted at a downtown bar.
A Gorrell Avenue resident called police around 8 a.m. to report an unknown male had entered the house,
had urinated on the couch, then had left southbound on Gorrell. Police followed the footsteps in the
snow and located Stephen P. Fritsch, 19, of Strongsville, in the 600 block of South Main Street. He
admitted to entering the residence, and said he was lost. Fritsch was arrested for criminal trespass and
underage/under the influence, and was taken to jail.
Theft: Xbox gaming system, 900 block Klotz Road.

Bowling Green, was cited for operating a vehicle while impaired, prohibited alcohol (BAC 0.138), and

PERRYSBURG TOWNSHIP POLICE
A Waterville woman was arrested and charged with assault and domestic violence after she reportedly
struck her ex-husband and his girlfriend at a residence in the township Dec. 31.
An attempted breaking and entering incident was reported Jan. 2 at a location in the 26000 block of
